We can’t wait to see your applications for this year’s Artwave.

Jo is curating both weekends and looking for the best Sussex-based makers, artists, artisans, and craftspeople to join our vibrant showcase.

Artwave is the annual festival of artists and makers run by Lewes District Council. Our Plumpton Racecourse showcase allows art lovers to discover new work, meet artists, artisans, craftspeople, and makers, and buy directly from them.

Participating in our showcase is a brilliant way to meet like-minded people and the art-buying public, expect to raise your profile and share your creative practice with the wider community. We are hoping to be one of the biggest and best venues during Artwave, come and be part of it.

Thousands of people visit the area for the festival each year and meaningful creative connections are made.

There are two weekends to apply for:

7/8th Sept 2024 11 am - 5 pm

14/15th Sept 2024 11 am - 5 pm

We encourage artists, artisans, craftspeople, and makers of all ages, and at all stages of their careers, within any discipline to show with us.

The cost is £150 per weekend Payment is required upon selection to secure and confirm your space.

All exhibitors are supplied with a 6ft x 6ft space, a table, and a chair. Please note there is no wall hanging so plan to bring your hanging solution.

The Showcase is housed indoors within the Mayo Wynne Baxter Marquee.
