IN OUR TIME

A contemporary response to the Bayeux Tapestry

Imagine looking back in 1,000 years.

What would you want people to understand about life today?

An invitation to UK and French artists and creatives to create a collective portrait of life in 2027.

Directly inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry’s recording of an event through images, IN OUR TIME asks what we would choose to preserve as a visual record of our own time.

We’re leaving the narrative to you…

A personal experience, a public event, a community, a concern, a celebration or an everyday observation.

What do you feel should, and could, be remembered?

A democratic exhibition.

Enter and take part.

IN OUR TIME is open to UK and French artists and creatives, with no selection panel or competitive judging. Entry guarantees your place in the exhibition.

Every contributor works on the same size board and receives equal space in the continuous display.

Whether you’re an established artist or developing your creative practice, your perspective becomes part of our shared story.
