Inspired by Standen: Selected Artists and Artworks
We are delighted to announce the selected artists and artworks for Inspired by Standen, a new exhibition celebrating contemporary responses to the enduring legacy of Standen House and the Arts and Crafts movement.
Presented in partnership with Standen House and Garden, this exhibition brings together artists, makers and craftspeople working across textiles, ceramics, printmaking, metalwork, sculpture and mixed media. The selected works reflect the values that continue to make Standen such an inspiring place: craftsmanship, beauty, materiality, nature and thoughtful design.
The final selection was made from submissions received through our national open call. The judges were impressed by the quality, diversity, and imagination of the entries, with artists responding to Standen’s architecture, interiors, gardens, collections, and the wider ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement in exciting and contemporary ways.
