Hand-carved and hand-printed, my nature-inspired wallpaper brings traditional craft and contemporary pattern together, reflecting the Standen Arts and Crafts values of beauty and skilled making.
'The Flock At Thirteen' repeat pattern is inspired by the majestic oak at the bottom of my garden—its branches twisting, its leaves scattered, its canopy teeming with wildlife. I often sit in its shade, listening to the birds putting the world to rights. This wallpaper is my ode to that tree and its feathered residents.
Printed with water-based low-VOC paints on 10 meter FSC-certified rolls of paper, with a 30cm half-drop repeat.
The exhibition runs until 30 September. Once a purchase has been completed, buyers may choose either to collect their artwork free of charge from Standen House on 2 October, or to have the work professionally packed, insured and couriered by Sussex Contemporary. Delivery charges vary according to the size, weight and value of each artwork and are detailed on the individual product page before purchase.
