87. Willow with Fish by Pamela Atwell

from £50.00

Catalogue number: 87

Artist: Pamela Atwell

Title: Willow with Fish

Medium: Linoprint on paper

Dimensions: 46cmx34cmx1.5cm

I love William Morris Wallpapers, so I wanted to translate one to linoprint. I chose Willow bough, and one of William Frend de Morgan's beautiful vases in your collection to complete the composition.

I loved the simplicity of the William Morris wallpaper I chose, I felt willow bough would translate well to linoprint. I completed the composition with one of William de Morgans gorgeous vases in the collection. This is a 2 block print, in a variable edition, enabling me to play with different combinations of color. It is printed on a thin Japanese paper in a lovely mustard and burgundy, which I feel suits Standen.

The exhibition runs until 30 September. Once a purchase has been completed, buyers may choose either to collect their artwork free of charge from Standen House on 2 October, or to have the work professionally packed, insured and couriered by Sussex Contemporary. Delivery charges vary according to the size, weight and value of each artwork and are detailed on the individual product page before purchase.

Please note, as well as the framed edition we have of this print, which was judge-selected for this exhibition, we also have unframed editions (one of each) in different colour ways available to purchase. Choose from one of the colour variants shown below, after purchase we will be in touch with a further invoice for tracked postage of your unframed print.
