Made from: Reclaimed English Oak.
Dimensions: 38 cm 60cm 260cm
Year made: 2026
Crafted from a single board of reclaimed English oak, this piece beautifully showcases the natural elegance of the timber. Its clean, simple design highlights the wood's unique character while embracing traditional woodworking techniques. A sturdy dovetail bar at the bottom, paired with two lap-joined legs on either side, ensures both strength and stability. Lightweight and petite, it effortlessly fits into any space, making it easy to move around your home. The subtly textured surface and finish promise to age it gracefully over time, developing a rich history of its own. The influence of this piece came from the Arts and Crafts movement.
Purchased artworks will remain on display as part of the exhibition until it closes on 30 September. Buyers may then choose either to collect their artwork free of charge from Standen House on 2 October, or to have the work professionally packed, insured and couriered by Sussex Contemporary. Courier dispatches will commence from 7 October. Delivery charges vary according to the size, weight and value of each artwork and are detailed on the individual product page.
