Artist’s statement
This work is one of a series loosely based around my young granddaughter who can be found immersed in a book anywhere around her house - in this case on the floor (one of her favourite spots). The image shows her deep in the book's world but equally we sense she is in the comfort and shelter of family and home.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
