Artist’s statement
This picture was taken November 2024 on the way from Artmesia in Greece. The weather on the journey was particularly wet and windy, making driving treacherous. I stopped briefly. I like the positioning of the building tucked into the hillside amongst the trees with the driving rain. This “Shelter “ seemed very isolated. Like a bothy or a shed they often seem to be isolated or remote and stand alone. Shelters often have an alluring unknown quality to them, a kind of whats it there for?
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
