Artist’s statement
A bus stop is a temporary, and sometimes also a literal, shelter. While waiting for a bus, alongside others, we become part of a group whether we know it or want it. Connecting and or disconnecting in these moments are different ways of sheltering oneself.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
