Artist’s statement
I spend an awful lot of time walking on the Downs because nature is where I feel sheltered from everyday life anxiety.
The world is frightening. The future can be uncertain. But when I'm out in nature, I am shown what true strength is. Its beauty envelops me. I can breathe again.
My painting are a celebration of the natural world.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
