Jane Denman
Cordoarias Garden
Acrylic on Canvas, Framed in thin black wood
Dimensions: 121x91x5
Artist’s statement
Cordoarias Garden is part of my current series of paintings focusing on heat, travelling and seeking shade. I have travelled to Europe to experience new sights and was amazed by the beautiful green parks in city spaces in many cities that serve as respite from the summer heat. With the heat coming also to the UK these spaces are becoming more sought after and for me there are a very urgent need for more green spaces and trees in populated areas.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
