Dimensions: 50 hight x 88 length x 3 deep
Artist’s statement
Nothing Gold Can Stay, its title taken from the Robert Frost poem, treats shelter as a fragile, temporary state. An almost transparent form floats within the landscape, held by water, yet exposed to it. Suspended between protection and vulnerability, it occupies a space between refuge and precarity. The work asks where shelter resides when both bodies and environments face uncertainty, can nature offer sanctuary when nature itself is on the brink?
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
