Artist’s statement
Allows recognition of a familiar place to return to as temporary refuge. The indications of historic plaid hold a recognisable albeit temporary security and indications of a nomadic culture. Elements of repeating rhythm, a man made but unfixed structure and the physically divided work exposed the human experience of movement and navigation.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
