Simon Fell
Uninvited Masterpiece
Glazed ceramic earthenware
Dimensions: 17h, 20l, 17w
Artist’s statement
Uninvited masterpiece is a model of an extreme version of the concept of home. It’s less practical than a bus shelter but offers extreme sophistication, self aggrandisement and self indulgence for the billionaire that could afford to build it on a very grand scale. It's a kind of architectural nightmare.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
