Shelter Under The Mountain
watercolour
Dimensions: 46 x 27
Artist’s statement
Fascinated by the ever changing colour of Hay Bluff & Tampa, I went a long way off the road to paint in this isolated spot surrounded by wild ponies. The contrast of the majestic mountain with the small house & barn nestling safely beneath it feels very nurturing - like being wrapped in the arms of our mother or father as a child
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
