Artist’s statement
Under a moody sky, orange chairs sit alongside shuttered huts. The closed huts stand as barriers against coastal weather. The seating offers an inviting refuge, yet no promise of warmth until the storm passes.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
