Artist’s statement
Marshland traces my repeated journeys to the marshlands on the outskirts of London from the beginning of Autumn until the height of Winter. As I returned and witnessed its daily transformations, almost always in solitude, a feeling of companionship with the place emerged. Slowly, these walks developed into a ritual and, finally, a physical need. However, a sense of uncertainty also took hold of me as the landscape expanded into a mythical place full of allure, defiance, and danger.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
