Artist’s statement
The soft spaces within and around the groups of rocks are where we might find shelter from any storm.This piece represents shapes and patterns found on a pebble beach, in a hedgerow, on a school playing field; in the pebbles and rocks around us. I create images from an emotional response to my world, translating sensation into aesthetic emotion.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
