Fine Art Giclée Print on Hahnemühle Paper
Dimensions: 35 x 30
Artist’s statement
This gate leads to the house where I grew up — locked for six years, since my father died. My brother comes to mow the grass; I come to open it, even from abroad, maybe twice a year, for two days at a time. But it's the place that can heal me, save me from hardship — the place I always want to return to. Shelter isn't always walls around you. Sometimes it's simply the place you can always come back to.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
