Artist’s statement
In this busy world, shelter for me takes the form of stillness and solitude. A place I can breathe and recalibrate, taking refuge from the world. I actively seek this in nature, finding solace in the landscape and especially on the coast. I feel suffocated inland - the sea calms my soul. Untouched - conveys my ideal solitude, a place devoid of human presence where I am at one with the landscape.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
