Artist’s statement
The crab, has its own shelter. The children are sheltering the crab and are creating a pool with their legs. The children's legs reflect the shape of the crab and have created a safe space.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
