Artist’s statement
We are comforted by the things we possess. By the gifts we have been gifted, by the treasures that we have inherited and the memories that they hold. These objects offer familiarity and feeling of connection and comfort in the homes we make. Shelter to me is home, with the people I love and the things that connect me to them.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
