Artist’s statement
In this piece I have used the Orchid to express the unity of fragility and strength. The blue and the pink represent male and female. The pink supports the blue, whilst the blue protects the pink. Sheltering them from predators. They appear to almost take flight, to free themselves from the canvas.
All purchased artworks must remain in the exhibition until 12pm on 29 November 2026.
Artworks can be collected between 12pm and 6pm on 29 November 2026, or between 10am and 4pm on 30 November 2026.
For every £1 spent with SUSSEX contemporary, 70p goes directly to the artist.
